The Mayflower
The Mayflower steamer sank on November 12, 1912 in Kamaniskeg Lake.
The only survivors were rescued by a dead man.
 
Madonna House
A Catholic lay community whose members dedicate their lives to reaching out and ministering to the poor and needy of the world.
    John Wesley Dafoe
A simple country boy from Combermere, advised prime ministers and was offered a knighthood.
